I went to see Woodpigeon last night at the The Junction in York. Woodpigeon are a nine-piece band of Canadian origins who make delicate, folky tunes with wispy vocals.

They are fronted by a Bill Bryson look-a-like, who is accompanied by a mixed bag of keyboard players, violin, an Apple Mac, drums, electric guitar and five-string bass. They make a tremendous sound; less delicate than their recorded works.

Woodpigeon - The Junction, York

Almost nobody turned up.
